Privacy policy
Last updated 10 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Avantra collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. In short: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it to reply to you, and we don't sell it or use advertising trackers.
Who we are
Avantra is the trading name of Avantra Services Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 14871429). Registered office: Suite 1-2 Brookfield Court, Selby Road, Leeds, LS25 1NB. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us about privacy at hello@avantraservices.co.uk.
What we collect
- Enquiry forms. Your name, email address, and anything else you choose to tell us, such as your company, website, project details and preferences.
- Project intake form. The answers you give about your project. While you fill it in, a draft is saved only in your own browser so you don't lose your work; it is sent to us only when you submit it.
- Calls, email and WhatsApp. If you book a call, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your name, contact details and what you send.
- Website analytics. Anonymous, aggregated statistics such as page views, referring sites and device type. These do not use cookies and do not identify you.
How we use it, and why
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project. We rely on your consent, which you give when you submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To provide our services if you become a client, under our contract with you.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it, using anonymous analytics, under our legitimate interests.
We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of trusted service providers, who process information only on our instructions:
- Vercel hosts this website and provides the anonymous analytics.
- Neon securely stores enquiries submitted through our forms.
- Resend delivers the email notification that tells us a form has been submitted.
- Microsoft 365 provides our email and the booking page for calls.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages if you choose to contact us that way.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for 12 months, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep project and business records for as long as we work together and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics work without cookies. The only thing stored on your device is the intake form draft described above, which stays in your browser and which you can clear at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, ask us to restrict or stop using it, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@avantraservices.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if how we handle information changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top. Questions? Get in touch or email hello@avantraservices.co.uk.
